Shoes … In Color!

A Wonderful Bridal Trend:  Shoes . . . in color!

Looking into the New Year, we’ve gotten a glimpse of how some fashion-savvy brides are making the decision to wear shoes in a color other than white with their wedding gowns!

Abigail, a summer bride, will wear strappy, lipstick-red sandals, “Because,” she says, “red makes me feel sexy!” 

Although red will always be a popular choice, of late other colors have been chosen to make an appearance on bridal feet. 

Mia, a fall bride, chose lovely green shoes for the simple reason that green is her husband-to-be’s favorite color.  “Besides, he says they match my eyes,” she explained with a smile.

Julia, a spring bride, told us the story of why she will be wearing sky blue peep-toes.  The shoes she plans to wear were once her mother’s, worn on her own wedding day.  Wearing them will be Julia’s way of honoring her mother’s memory, as well as having the traditional “something blue.”

Lauren, a winter bride, found the perfect pair of high-heeled purple sling-backs, so dark they’re almost black.  “They’re unique, just like me!” she exclaimed with a wink. 

So, ladies, scour the boutiques for that perfect pair of bridal shoes — in color!  Besides making a beautiful accent to any wedding dress, they will look absolutely amazing in your photographs!
