Hot. Or down South, as we’d say “hawt”. Yes, that’s an adjective we would use to describe this Miami heat inspired wedding. With colors of gold, orange and our FAVORITE color, red, how can you not fall in love on a day like this one?

Mindy and I have been doing this a long time and so we like to see things that are unique and personalized. So while many brides take a traditional turn to their wedding dress, Jen did the exact opposite! This dress designed by La Sposa added a little va-va-voom to the dress world and a whole lot to her wedding day. This strapless asymmetrical beaded organza dress with ruffles was to die for.

So many relationships are created throughout your life, that on your wedding day, the details really mean a lot. One of my favorite moments is when Jen was getting ready. Her father, because he had shorter nails, helped Jen button up the back of her dress. We love our Dads. We loved this moment.

Mario’s family came from all over to be at his wedding. We were not only impressed by that, but also by the level of respect shown to everyone there. We also loved the mother-son dance. Every first smile, first step, first tooth, graduations, and accomplishments all lead to this moment when this new family of Mario and Jen begins.

Jen and Mario, thank you for being so awesome –we were very happy to be part of your first day as a new family and to have the honor of capturing all those relationships and moments.
