Maya Angelou is THE Phenomenal Woman!

One of my favorite poems is Phenomenal Woman — but I never thought I would get to ever see the most awesome Maya Angelou in person.   But the philenthropic Maya has a charter school in D.C.  She hosts a yearly event to raise funds for the school.    Maya Angelou is one of those women that is truly beautiful inside and out!

Maya Angelou’s visit was all about the kids — and they listened with rapt attention.

Maya even sang for us!

The look on Toni’s�face says how we were all feeling — we were in awe!�
