Glen Echo Park was THE perfect location for Larry and Megan. “Internalize” Megan says, “That’s what we’re constantly telling each other — just keep it inside.” As soon as the words fell from Megan’s lips we were in love. Mindy and I both think that’s one of the reasons we clicked so well with Megan and Larry. We both also have a hard time “internalizing” ourselves! But that only says a little bit about the awesome couple we got to photograph . . .

Megan is just this gorgeous woman, inside and out. In between getting Larry to ‘behave’ and kicking the soccer ball around with Isis, Larry’s extraordinarily mature 8 year old daughter, we managed to get some great shots of them all together. We immediately saw what Larry saw when they had their first date to see an Irish Band at a pub.

Larry had us laughing the entire day! I have to tell this story, because this to us seemed exactly like how Megan and Larry usually are — their essence. So we’re standing in front of the ‘Adventure Theatre’ and Mindy and I are just shooting away and I say, “If You Give A Pig A Pancake” which yes, seemed very random, but I was actually quoting the poster that was hanging behind the glass windows of the theatre. Everyone stopped. Larry gave me this look as to say, have you gone mad? He then looked at Megan who started laughing. Then we all busted out laughing . . . and couldn’t stop for the rest of the afternoon.

We also had the privilege of photographing Isis, that I mentioned before is extremely mature. We were all giggling so much that during the shoot Isis turned to me and said, “How old are you?” It was hilarious! She guessed right about my age — and no, I’m not going to tell you how old I am. She hung right in there with us and we felt that she completed the shoot, just like we could so clearly see how she completed Megan and Larry.

To Megan and Larry — you guys are going to have so much fun throughout your lives. Thanks for allowing us to capture even just a little bit of you three. We hope you like the slideshow we did for you!
