Ever After Visuals is Mindy & Joriana Belcher, a mother & daughter with vision – we see stories of emotion and capture them. After your wedding day or portrait session, in prints, albums and in slideshows, we will visually tell your love story in a customized unique way.

As photojournalists, we will document the love and relationships with your mate, your family, your friends... the entire day...in a way that no one else can.

Our images are filled with emotion and romance – they are timeless, modern.

We don’t want you to just remember that you had a wedding day, portrait or event...we want you to feel the emotions all over again.

This is your story, your day, your Once-Upon-A-Time.

Let us capture your moments -- Ever After.

Marcus and Maria Get Married!

Ceremony and Reception Venue: Airlie Center, Warrenton, Virginia — Beautiful, beautiful location!
Floral Design: Heaven On Earth Wedding FlowersLinda always does a great job — one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of working with!
Ceremony Music: Finest Sounds EntertainmentAwesome tunes kept everyone dancing!
Catering: Airlie Center - The food was extremely delicious — my favorite was the different types of pasta!
Bridal Gown: David’s Bridal
Hairstylist: Heather at Jazz It Up!
Honeymoon Destination: Antigua
Cake: Simply Sweet - The cake looked absolutely beautiful

Maria and Marcus tied the knot Saturday in a lovely ceremony at Airlie Center, one of our very favorite places to document a wedding. With her beautiful big brown eyes and petiteness, Maria looked like a Barbie doll! (Her shoes were a size 5 1/2!) Maria’s quiet nature contrasted with Marcus’ when we met with him and his groomsmen. He was cracking jokes left and right and really kept us in stitches! We can’t believe Marcus is so shy around the camera — as he said he HATES having his picture made! He can’t see what we see since we thought he was uber photogenic! And best of all, we love that he told us right before we left that he would recommend us to all his friends!

We loved this wedding — sharing this beautiful day with Maria and Marcus, their family and friends was really special to us. Some of Maria’s family came all the way from England. Both Maureen and Donna, the mothers of the bride and groom were so sweet, and such a pleasure to photograph as there was lots of love in the room.

We felt a little of the bittersweetness in the air, too, as all held the memory close of Maria’s father, who passed away in July. Much as we try, we can’t help but feel the same emotions as our clients — we got that old familiar lump in the throat when Maria asked for a photograph of her father’s wings that her mom had pinned to her crinoline. And when Maria’s brother told her that he wanted to tell her what Dad would have said, well, it was a bittersweet moment for sure, but one we feel privileged to share.

Most of all, we felt that these two gentle souls will live, love and laugh together for many years to come! Thank you for choosing us to share your most special day.

Van and Noelle came to us on a warm summer’s day — easygoing, fun and very much in love, this couple is the couple to keep your eye on! We love how laid back and easygoing they are with each other — soon, their playful and romantic nature took over and they forgot we were there clicking away — just the way we love it to be.

THE STORYBOOK! Chris and Astrid’s Album Design is Ready!

I have designed many wedding albums, but I have to say, Chris and Astrid’s was one of the hardest. Why you ask? Because there were so many good images of the happy couple. It made it very hard to choose! Astrid, we love the person you are. You expressed your emotions freely, and it really made the images blossom.

Chris — you are such a cool guy. We especially loved the vows that you spoke to Astrid during the ceremony. Your wedding is going down in the books as one of our pesonal favorites!

We hope you love your wedding album as much as we do.

Chris and Astrid — A Beach Affair to Remember!

Ceremony and Reception Venue: The First Colony Inn, Nags Head, North Carolina — Unique, beautiful and relaxed!
Ceremony Music: DJ Les Humble rocked the house!
Catering: Coastal Provisions - The food was delicious;>}
Wedding Planner: Meg Whittenberg
Honeymoon Destination: Oahu, Hawaii
Cake: Great Cakes of the Outerbanks

Chris and Astrid are fun, playful, sexy, emotive and one of our favorite couples. First of all, Nags Head, North Carolina is a beautiful place to get married. The smell of the beach in the air, the feel of the sand beneath your feet and the sound of the waves magically puts you at ease. What an AWESOME choice! Did we say we LOVE destination weddings?

Chris and Astrid are the latest in the coolest of couples we have chosen to work with. They value photography so they gave us the best gift ever — time for images at the beach!!! It is just the best that they are not afraid to show how they are feeling, and it’s clear their love is strong and here to stay. We are soooo very happy that they aren’t afraid to share that love with their friends and family — we feel honored that we were able to document their day. We love the images we were able to capture of them both. Thank you so much for being soooo very easy to work with and allowing us to be such a big part of your lives. You guys are absolutely the best!!

Things we loved:

With Hurricane Hannah sashaying all over North Carolina, these two were cool as cucumbers — we love that!
We found ourselves tearing up on more than one occasion. Astrid caught us when she was read the love note from Chris — we just couldn’t help it. Our thoughts turned to our Poppy during Astrid’s dance with her father — so very sweet.
We got quite the chuckle at Chris wearing his game over shirt.
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that they had SOOOO many family and friends come, even with the Weather Bureau saying Hannah was going to be a direct hit. Well, Hannah took a detour and everyone enjoyed this one of a kind event. We love that their family and friends were such great support!
All of the bridesmaids were sooooo friendly and helpful — not to mention goooorgeous!
The groomsmen popping ‘one last drink to Chris’ freedom’ right after the processional! What a great group of guys!!!
The SUN — it totally cooperated and popped out right when Chris and Astrid said “I do”
At the end of the day, we were rewarded with this indescribable sunset. We don’t even think that the images do it justice as it was so beautiful!!!!

Please don’t miss the slideshow!

Jason and Jennifer…Wonderful Tonight!

Ceremony and Reception Venue: Washington Dulles Hilton, Dulles, Virginia — Always a great location for a top notch affair!
Floral Design: Molly from Flower Gallery of Manassas, Manassas, Virginia
Ceremony Music: DJ Paul Parrinello
Catering: Washington Dulles Hilton - The food certainly looked delicious.
Wedding Planner: Laura Mahon-Tinsman Washington Dulles Hilton
Bridal Gown: Alfred Angelo Alfred Angelo Piccione Collection
Hairstyle: Giselle Zlotnitsky of Hair by Giselle Zlotnitsky
Makeup: Victoria Stiles of Victoria Stiles Makeup
Honeymoon Destination: Antigua, Sandals Resort
Cake: Melissa Johnson Of Sugar N’ Shindigs

After months of preparation, Jason and Jennifer tied the knot in a fabulous wedding at the gorgeous Hilton in Dulles. The color theme for the wedding was black and white, so the whole day had this beautiful elegance to it — we are really loving how it looks in the images! Most of all, we love that Jason and Jennifer made time in their schedule for bridal portraits and lots of bride and groom time — the only way to get great images is to make time for them!!!!! Thanks soooooo much for allowing us time to ‘do our thing’ with some of the kewl locations around the Hilton — we love it when our brides and grooms value photography. Jennifer and Jason, we hope you are having an awesome time in Antiqua!!

Things we loved:

That there was a special tribute to Jennifer’s father who passed away — bittersweet — and brought a lump to our throats for sure.
How beautiful Jennifer looked — the dress was rocking and Victoria did a wonderful makeup job as Jennifer looked just as fresh at the end of the evening as she did in the beginning.
Jason’s shoes — we LOOOOOVVED them. I hope more grooms take the hint and do something similar!
The bagpipes were an awwwweeesssoooommmme touch — we were loving it and the kilt wasn’t bad either…;>}
How Jennifer and Jason really worked together through the planning — what a great way to start a marriage.
That someone gave them the awesome gift of their family crest — THAT’s a unique gift they will treasure, I’m sure.
That both side of the family were FUN — lots of dancing and partying all around made for a good time had by all.
The red velvet wedding cake — exactly what our wedding cake was only 28 years ago! Great minds think alike…;>}

Jennifer’s dress was GORGEOUS. We love it when our brides have unique dresses. Take a look at the sneak peek slideshow and you will see. Be forewarned though — there were soooooooo many images we loved that we found an extra long version of the song they danced to, so you will have to wait longer than usual for the slideshow to start — but we think it is definitely worth it!!
