Ever After Visuals is Mindy & Joriana Belcher

Ever After Visuals is Mindy & Joriana Belcher, a mother & daughter with vision – we see stories of emotion and capture them. After your wedding day or portrait session, in prints, albums and in slideshows, we will visually tell your love story in a customized unique way.

As photojournalists, we will document the love and relationships with your mate, your family, your friends... the entire day...in a way that no one else can.

Our images are filled with emotion and romance – they are timeless, modern.

We don’t want you to just remember that you had a wedding day, portrait or event...we want you to feel the emotions all over again.

This is your story, your day, your Once-Upon-A-Time.

Let us capture your moments -- Ever After.

Jonthan and Carly –

We traveled to Carly’s home for the first part of their engagement session, and we just have to say, that it is absolutely gorgeous there! Jonathan and Carly are just so fun to work with. We asked Jonathan what he thought about Carly when he first saw her. He said he thought she was, “radiant.” We couldn’t agree more. Radiance is not just your outer appearance, it’s how the inner person shines through. Check out their slideshow, and see if you agree with us.

SNEAK PEEK! KAREN & DAN

Ceremony & Reception: River Creek Country Club
Cake: Patisserie Lille
Music: Dynamo Entertainment – Akhil Ahanda
Bridal Gown: David’s Bridal
Honeymoon Destination: Jamaica

June 20, 2009 marked Dan and Karen’s special day. We loved everything about their wedding — from the elegant River Creek Country Club with it’s beautiful lighting and unique architecture to the special custom Hershey bar favors. We especially love how close Dan and Karen are to their families. Karen, as you will see in the slideshow, is a Daddy’s girl. The father-daughter dance moved us to tears, as it did Karen. As for Dan, we couldn’t help but be a little emotional when he chose his dad as his best man.

To the happy couple: Dan and Karen, the love you two share for each other is so special and precious. We are so happy to see that you not only found each other, but have built a strong bond, always relying and trusting in each other. We know you have a marriage that will last for children, grand-children and great grand-children to see.

We hope Dan and Karen, along with their friends and family enjoy the slideshow. Please show us some love by leaving some comments!

SNEAK PEEK! Priscilla & Bob | Bolling Air Force Base – Tuskegee Room

Ceremony: Bolling Air Force Base Chapel Two
Reception & Catering: Bolling Air Force Base Officers Club-Tuskegee Room
Cake: Clement’s Bakery
Floral Design: Mary Clare
Bridal Gown: Paloma Blanca
Honeymoon Destination: Lighthouse Cottage at Punta Borinquen, Puerto Rico

Joriana and I are not sure what it was about Priscilla and Bob’s wedding that had us dripping with emotion…;>} Maybe it was how much love we felt from family and friends who came from as far away as Alaska and Puerto Rico and went out of their way for Priscilla and Bob for even the littlest things. It was clear for all to see that this couple are dearly loved.

Hugs and smiles, laughter and tears, applause — we seemed to coast through the day from one emotion to the next — and it all felt right, just right. Extra special about this wedding for us was the Air Force influence felt in the dress blues and the punctual and helpful groomsmen — and the bridesmaids were longtime friends and family of Priscilla and Bob’s and were just the sweetest! Being able to photograph in the Tuskegee Room was a treat, and we really fell in love with the 40’s feel at this wedding — from the ambiance of the venue, through the cocktail music and then the unique live performances. Priscilla and Bob have a multi-talented set of friends with a theatrical background who gave superb live performances — the bride even sang “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” while her new hubby bugled away…sooooo kewl.

But the highlight of the evening for us was when Phil and Heather sang “Come What May” from Moulin Rouge. That song is not only one of our favorites, but the words fit Bob and Priscilla. They have that timeless love, the one that is comfortable like your favorite shoes, but still full of that lust for life that keeps your days fresh with promise. We constantly pinch ourselves that we get to have what we feel is the perfect profession — we have the kewlest clients who honor us by including us with those they love the most in the world on the most wonderful of days, and we get to share their love, their laughter — and we often share the tears — as we witness the start of their new family. Priscilla and Bob gave us what we feel is one of the highest honors from our clients — they seated us at a table with their guests and we were given a plated meal. It means so very much to us to be treated this way. Thank you so very much for being so kind to us.

Priscilla and Bob, may your love always be sweet and your days be filled with laughter and the joy of a love freely given Come What May.

Floral Design: Karin’s Florist
Music: DZ Entertainment
Bridal Gown: Jim Hjelm
Hair Stylist: Sonia Kasbarian – Bridal Artistry

Honeymoon Destination: Majestic Colonial Punta Cana

Van and Noelle were elegantly wed last weekend as friends and family looked on with love. These two are definitely a match for each other! Our bride, Noelle, is such a beauty — we had the awesome privilege of getting some wonderful bride and groom time for images. These two aren’t a cookie cutter bride and groom, so they dispensed with those old traditions and saw each other before the wedding in a special, emotional and intimate moment. We weren’t close enough to hear, but it looked to us as though Van looked his bride up and down and told her how magnificent she looked — and she seriously did! How lovely for us to see a bride break with the strapless dress that the majority of brides seem to be wearing! We felt this style suited Noelle to a T.

Van and Noelle struck us as individuals with a unique style all their own from the first time we met them — we love all of the personal touches this wedding had, from the butterflies represented on the cake, the favor (the cutest cookie cutter tin we EVER saw) and even butterfly lollipops for the guests! With a fun, casual and relaxed atmosphere, we enjoyed every minute to this unique and fun filled wedding — and hats off to Vicki for wedding planning that helped everything stay on track.

One of Noelle’s favorite types of music is Reggae — ours, too! So we incorporated that Reggae theme into her slideshow — we love it when brides show their individuality and applaud it whenever we see it. Most of all, we love how happy Noelle and Van looked together — from their bride and groom images right on through to their first dance. Van had that look on his face — the one that says: I just married the girl of my dreams!

SNEAK PEEK! B.J. and Kristin — elegantly wed at the Hilton!

Ceremony: St. Ann’s Catholic Church
Reception Venue & Catering: The Hilton, Arlington, VA Beautiful location!
Floral Design: Gail Dobberfuhl Gorgeous flowers!
Music: The Pros We Be Jammin!
Bridal Gown: Alfred Angelo
Honeymoon Destination: Tahiti
Cake: Sticky Fingers Bakery – Looked good AND tasted delicious!l

Kristin and B.J. were thoroughly wed on Saturday! Joining our long list, Kristin was a beautiful bride, whose shy smiles, I think, just made B.J.’s heart beat faster. All day she looked like a china doll, so petite!

And we never tire of seeing our grooms watch their brides with love all over their faces — and B.J. proved to be no exception! He has that look, the one we’ve come to love. That’s one of the reasons why we chose the song for their slideshow —

“And I’m shaking, then I’m still
When your eyes meet mine, I lose simple skills
Like to tell you all I want is now
You sing and I’m killed
I’m just not the same
As I was a year ago and each minute since then”

I am betting that B.J. hasn’t been the same since he met Kristin!

Elegantly modern, the Hilton in Arlington proved to be the perfect place for them to celebrate with friends and family — as Tram said in her wonderful speech, “may the only pain be champagne for these two!” Our favorite part of the evening was the first dance — we love how effortless their dance looked!! B.J. and Kristin, your relationship is warm and loving, and it is clear to us that you share a deep love for each other. It looks as though you have a heritage of parents and grandparents that have shared their love for many years — we wish the same for you two!

Thank you for honoring us, not only by choosing us to document your wedding, but by including us and making us feel like family. Most of all, we very much appreciate how you treated us — we never ask for it, but we are so very grateful when our clients who become our friends feed us just what their guests eat, even seating us at a table. When our clients treat us like friends, we feel so very valued! Being in the same room also ensures that we don’t miss documenting anything.

It was a privilege to be present on the first day of your new family. Joriana and I wish you the greatest happiness as you live, love and laugh through the years ahead!

Travis and Liz . . . your wedding was beautiful!! From the ornate church that was HUGE inside to the special groom’s cakes . . . every detail of this wedding was elegant and romantic. The entire day, Liz and Travis were surrounded by friends and family who obviously love them dearly.

We personally felt like Luther Vandross said it best; “If this world were mine, I would place at your feet all that I own. You’ve been so good to me. If this world were mine. I’d give the flowers the birds and the bees, and it’d be your love beside me that would be all I need.” Perfect sentiments for the perfect wedding.

Liz and Travis’ friends and family were sooooo niiiiice — and everyone did some serious getting down to one of the best DJ’s we’ve heard — hats off to you for keeping everyone on the floor.

Da Vinci Florist and Lighting, as usual, did an awesome job with the lighting — seriously, the Hilton at Silver Springs looked like a million bucks! We love working at the Hilton and with DaVinci Lighting.

Travis and Liz, you guys are such a well matched couple. On April 18, 2009 you could definitely see love at its truest form from “I Do” until the last dance finished. Check out our slideshow, and you can see for yourself — but be forewarned, it’s loooooong, so be patient while it downloads!!

Floral Design: Jade Gorgeous flowers!
Music: Good Note DJs We Be Jammin!
Bridal Gown: Demetrios Bridal
Makeup: Jenny Eneida looked beautiful all day!
Honeymoon Destination: Hawaii
Cake: The Icing – Looked good AND tasted delicious!l

Jean Pierre and Eneida . . . congratulations! You’re married!!! Jean Pierre and Eneida were so excited to be getting married — especially on such a beautiful day! It was as if the sun wanted to shine for this wonderful couple. From the look on Eneida’s dad’s face as he gave his little girl away to the tears Jean Pierre’s mother shed as she watched her son escort his new bride down the aisle, this occasion was one of warmth and togetherness.

What stuck us most is the deep respect that’s shared between Jean Pierre and Eneida. As we got to know the couple, it became more and more evident that the love they have is one that is meant to last. The venue was Westwood Country club, with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and big bay windows — it was perfect! Did I mention the dancing? These two definitely know how to get their groove on! Their joy and laughter was contagious!

Thank you both, for picking us to document this once in a lifetime event. It was truly an honor.

We loved Jean Pierre and Eneida’s Wedding so much that we just had to add a few more pictures to their slideshow . . . so please be patient while the slideshow loads.

SNEAK PEEK! Ester and David at the Baltimore Aquarium

Ester and David are joining our list of kewl couples in 2009 — these two are just the kind we looooove to work with! As we strolled through the Aquarium, we learned that Ester and David were attracted to this location because of their love of the ocean and that the Baltimore Aquarium in particular holds a special place in their heart, since they visited before on an anniversary.

For us, the ocean represents a slow, steady rhythm that never fails to relax us, a place we love to kick back, chill and enjoy. After spending some time with Ester and David, we think that describes their relationship — steady, soothing; an easy love that will stand the test of time. And in keeping with the rest of our beautiful brides this season, the camera looooooves Ester!

But don’t take our word for it — check out their SNEAK PEEK slideshow by clicking the link below!
